Job Description

• Responsible for day to day operation of garages within the Region
• Maintain the Quality System (ISO) program 
• Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment
• Review and institute corrective action plan with respect to financial statement
• Provide Support/guidance to Operations team to ensure safe, efficient, regulatory compliant, & reliable vehicles
• Compliance to local governmental regulations & compliant fleet licensing
• Ensure all company/departmental policies and procedures are followed
• Field/garage audits
• Negotiating competitive pricing and arrangements with suppliers/vendors
• Completion and execution of business plans
• Participating in corporate initiative’s, e.g. employee loyalty, health & safety negotiations
• Employee training, coaching and development
• Train / update Operations group on new equipment types
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Certified mechanic’s license preferred / or equivalent work experience
• Strong knowledge of heavy and light vehicle maintenance
• Fleet maintenance system knowledge required (Fleet Assistant)
• Excellent analytical skills with a clear understanding of financial statements
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient use of Microsoft office products (word, excel and PowerPoint)
• Good organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
• Ability to motivate, lead, develop and manage a diverse work group
• Valid drivers license required
