Job description

This is a contract position for a Software Developer for our public sector client.
Work location: North York
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
The Ministry is seeking the services of one (1) Software Developer, Intermediate Level, to work as part of the Operation, Support and Maintenance support team to:
· Support the IRP and OO business teams with PRIO incidents
· Manage and administer the desktop software’s including RLSO and PRIO to address the business technology issues.
· Support the implementation vendor and the project team in the delivery of software releases, and to assist in transformation of the PRIO applications

Qualifications
Software Support Experience
· Experience in support of RLSO, PRIO, DISA, Java JRE and Windows 10 upgrades and analysis at the specified experience level

· Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation
· Maintenance of applications documentation
· Experience with installation of software’s and web sites

Solution & Services Support
· Experience with installation of software’s and web sites
· Understanding of Oracle Point of Sale, printer, scanners and POSPAD
· Understanding of ministry IVR services
· Experience in support and operate the eSMT tool
· Understanding of ITIL processes including change, problem and incident Mgmt
· Understating of Designing and implementing custom User Experience (UX) solutions document and install instruction Custom .NET, BI and Dynamics CRM services

Technology Experience
· Experience with development of other Microsoft & Oracle and other Technologies
o Oracle, SQL
o Java, JRE
o XML
o MS Web Services
o Power BI
o MS Teams
o Office O365
o Windows 10 environment
o ASP.NET Programming – all supported versions
o .NET Framework - all supported versions

Database & Desktop Certification Technologies and Process
· Understanding with relational and hierarchical database technologies
· Experience in the application certification process for automated deployments
· Experience with one or more communications protocols
· Understanding with MS azure hosting environment
