Haus of Cars is an independent auto shop nestled in the heart of Burnaby BC. We are a one-stop destination for all automotive needs under one roof. From full mechanical maintenance and repair, premium detailing and restoration, as well as vehicle sales and sourcing.

While specializing in German vehicles, our experienced team understands the unique needs of many makes and confidently grasp how to handle them with care and precision. At Haus of Cars, we are not just a repair shop. We are a family of car enthusiasts dedicated to our clients to get the most out of their vehicle throughout its whole life.

We’re now looking to expand our family by adding to our team of Automotive Service & Parts Advisor. We offer a great work environment and promote a culture of diversity, equality, and flexible work-life balance.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

* Greet customers and provide excellent customer service * Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them * Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and associated costs * Upsell additional services or products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue * Schedule appointments and manage the service department's workflow * Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and vehicle service history * Ordering parts * Maintain parts inventory, exchange defective parts or refund * Advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when exact replacement is not available * Prepare sales invoices * Mark and store parts according to prearranged system * Communicate with people from outside the organization * Sell parts * Maintain workstation in a clean and orderly manner * Other related duties as assigned by management

Additional Qualifications: * Proficient in English. Basic knowledge of Spanish and German would be considered a bonus * Possess a valid driver's license and provide a clean ICBC Driver's Abstract * Punctual and reliable * Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes * Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell services and products * Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally * Maintain acccurate daily records with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines * Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in CRM and Parts ordering software * Proactive willingness to learn emerging automotive technologies * Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with all individuals contacted in course of work, including the public

This is a full-time position consisting of a base hourly wage (depending on qualifications).

Salary: $20.00-$35.00/per hour *plus bonus potential
