The Quality Assurance Coordinator is located in Bowmanville and typically reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. This is a vital support role within the Quality Assurance department as a central hub for departmental support functions. This position contributes significantly to the continuous improvement processes and is dedicated to maintaining the highest service quality excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the QA Manager with any coordination activities as necessary.
- Contacting vendors and acquiring valid documentation for maintenance of the company's Approved Suppliers List (ASL) and assisting in maintaining the company's ASL.
- Ensure quality documentation and records are organized for quality program audits.
- Maintain Audit & Distribution Logs.
- Clerical support in the development of QA Manuals and procedures and official issues for use.
- Maintain Qualification Records for Inspection & Test Personnel.
- Generating/maintaining process charts.
- Controlling Documents (e.g. Standard Quality Forms, Standard Quality Procedures).
- Assisting new hires with setup- communicating with IT in setting up computers, email, workstations and ID's.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- A Secondary Education Diploma would be beneficial in this position but not mandatory.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience.
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Must be motivated, self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to work with deadlines.
- Previous Quality Assurance experience would be considered an asset.
- OPG Security Clearance requirements
- Position may require travel to various work site locations (Domestic)
