We are looking for a confident Account Receivable Coordinator to join our growing team.Fastening House specializes in providing electrical, mechanical, and general contractors with the products, tools, construction supplies and equipment they need – when they need it. Job Summary

An AR coordinator is a crucial part of the Fastening House business model.  Our ability to maintain quality relationships with our customer accounting teams insures open communication and prompt payment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily payment inquiry/collection telephone calls and emails
• Resolving payment discrepancies (short payments, skipped invoices, debits and credits)
• Reconciling accounts
• Collect data for audit purposes.
• Daily invoicing and invoicing customer credits (stock returns and pricing corrections)
• Processing credit card payments
• Processing credit applications and opening new accounts.
• Create monthly accounts receivable projection reports.
• Update daily AR balances.
• Resolve credit hold matters.
• Resolve aging balances.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer staff
• Ensure all customer contact information is up to date.
• File accounts for collections/ legal proceedings

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelors in business/ accounting is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a must.
• Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience (or the like)
• Strong verbal and writing skills (fluency in English is a must)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word skills
• Ability to rapidly learn new programs is a plus.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the construction/ warehousing field is an asset
• Strong problem solving skills
