Job Description
Kinetk is a tertiary level intervention program for clients with musculoskeletal injuries. The program features strong collaboration across disciplines, an evidence based approach to practice, and priority for staff education and training. Clients/patients are often experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, loss/change, family, and marital issues, pain and health behavior. This will encompass psychological and vocational assessment and treatment services provided within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited (CPA or APA) program
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists
- Successful completion of a CPA and/or APA accredited pre-doctoral internship program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
- Demonstrate broad assessment, treatment, and consultation expertise in the area of psychological factors on health, particularly in physical rehabilitation
- Demonstrated clinical assessment and therapy skills in the area of major mental disorders.
- Knowledgeable in the field of health psychology and pain management.
- Specific interest and training (or wiliness to train) in application to biofeedback pain.
