Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including home, auto, and recreational
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor for insurance-related matters.
- Conduct thorough insurance needs assessments for clients, identifying potential risks and recommending suitable coverage options.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing to meet client needs.
- Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals and policy recommendations to clients.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
- Handle client inquiries, claims, and policy changes promptly and professionally.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, insurance products, and market conditions to provide accurate and relevant information to clients.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to expand coverage and increase account retention.
- Monitor and analyze insurance market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to make strategic recommendations for business growth.
- Maintain accurate client records, policy documentation, and correspondence in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims representatives, to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Stay informed about changes in insurance regulations and compliance standards to ensure adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers, supporting their professional development and success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products, including home & Auto.
- Proven track record of managing a portfolio of personal lines accounts and achieving high client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
