In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority ( Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Manager, Budgets & Financial Analysis and working with VIHA senior executive, management and financial analysts, this position is the budget and reporting resource for the assigned program.
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to completion of third level CGA, CMA or CA accounting courses leading to a professional accounting designation, and a minimum of 5 years' related experience including experience in healthcare program, written reports and presentations, and customer-focused services.
