Job description
On behalf of our client in Richmond, BC , Ignite Technical Resources is looking for a Senior Voice Engineer (MS Teams/Five9) for a 12-months Contract position .
Role:
The Senior Voice Engineer ensures the stability and availability of complex voice systems, preferably experience with cloud voice platforms Five9, Microsoft TEAMS, or similar. The role also requires providing technical support, troubleshooting, and training for end-users and administrators.
Responsibilities: - Ensuring the stability and availability of complex voice systems, preferably experience with cloud voice platforms Five9, Microsoft TEAMS, or similar.
- Planning, designing, developing, documenting, implementing, and supporting existing and new voice-related technologies and infrastructure, preferably experience with cloud voice platforms Five9, Microsoft TEAMS, or similar.
- Administering and overseeing the operation, support, and maintenance of voice systems, preferably experience with cloud voice platforms Five9, Microsoft TEAMS, or similar.
- Providing advice, information, and technical guidance to project teams.
- Monitoring the Incident Management System and coordinating problem resolution efforts.
- Designing and implementing communication systems and application solutions.
- Monitoring and analyzing statistics of voice systems.
- Responding and resolving all voice infrastructure platform performance and related incidents.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology.
- 9+ years of experience as a Senior Voice Engineer with a focus on voice, omnichannel, contact center administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams (including TEAMS Voice), or similar back-office voice systems.
- Proficient in Five9 Contact Center Technologies, or similar.
- Specialist knowledge of voice networking, network protocols, security, and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves:
- Certifications in relevant Voice and Unified Communication platforms are preferred.
