Job description
Our client is a major cutting tool manufacturer serving the metalworking industry. They provide custom inventory management solutions to their manufacturing customers with specialized software and assembly services.
They are looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join the team. This position is permanent, located inside a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Your daily work tasks will involve using a computer and custom software to support the client’s vending solution onsite at their customer’s facility. This includes following up on open orders with vendors, receiving and restocking items, and cycle counting inventory as required. Additionally, this position supports the tooling assembly team as required. This assistance includes picking requirements from inventory to satisfy assembly lists.

Responsibilities
-Customer-facing role requiring face to face interactions with clients
-Operative handling of disposition and procurement of stock
-Continuous utilization of the appropriate software tools to manage and document daily tasks
-Assist assembly department as needs demand
-Read blueprints and use various hand tools for assembly support
Qualifications
-Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office products
-Previous manufacturing, machining or inventory control experience
-Attention to detail is important
-Clear communication with honesty and integrity are required
-Must have legal authorization to work in Canada by way of Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit
