Recruitment Coordinator - Internship

Job description

Vector Restoration is looking for Recruitment Coordinator for an internship starting in May and end in August in our Winnipeg office. Reporting to the Sr Recruitment Specialist & Team Lead, you will consist of providing recruitment support for all Vector’s Concrete Preservation Alliance. In this role, you will be providing assists to the recruitment team that is based in Canada and the US. You will learn how to organize, develop recruitment strategies, assist in our social media platforms and work through the recruitment lifecycle.

Please note. This role is only currently available to students who are enrolled in a Human Resources OR eligible to partake in an internship program approved by your learning institution in Manitoba.

Responsibilities

1. Engage in the full recruitment cycle.

2. Maintain data integrity within the applicant tracking system.

3. Responsible for job postings and ensuring they reach the target audience.

4. Pre-screening & interviewing candidates.

5. Presenting candidates to employers under the guidance of a recruitment team.

6. Coordinating interviews with hiring managers.

7. Conducting reference checks.

8. Help with career fairs and other recruitment events.

9. Be part of a team where everyone contributes to the regular administrative requirements.

10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• Must be currently enrolled in a certificate, or bachelor’s program in Human Resources OR eligible to partake in an internship program approved by your learning institution in Manitoba.
• Must have a focus in recruitment.
• Must understand and have a keen interest in social media: Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
• Attention to detail is a must in this role.
• Having previous experience or understanding of the construction industry will be an asset.
• Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Workable is an asset but not necessary)
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize workloads.
• Computer software including Microsoft Office
• Must be legally entitled to live and work in Canada
• Must have the ability to work in our office 3 to 4 days a week
