Job description
Duration: 12 months contract with 24 months optional extention
Job Description:
Hybrid (required 8 days on-site per month)
Responsibilities:
- Support the Redhat Linux 8, 9, and Solaris 11 environment.
- Perform Operating System administration, maintenance, patching, and hardening practices.
- Assist with the planning and execution of server installations, configuration, and tuning of Linux using Satellite and Ansible (Ansible Automation Platform).
- Assist with the development of Ansible playbooks to automate everyday administrative tasks.
- Assist with the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation (build books, operational guides, etc.).
- Other activities and deliverables, as required.
Skills & Qualification
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience in a Redhat Linux 7/8/9 Environment using Satellite.
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated work experience with Solaris 11 environment.
Experience:
- Ansible Tower/Ansible Automation.
- UNIX System administration, hardware support, and building (Scripting, Packaging, OpsCenter).
Education:
• University degree in a related subject
Additional Qualifications
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation, and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
- Redhat OpenSCAP.
