2024-25 Expression of Interest - Specialty Teaching Contracts - STRING MUSIC TEACHERS

OPEN to Internal and External Applicants

The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is the largest centre for education in Atlantic Canada with over 11,000 full-time, part-time and casual employees. Serving 58,000 students in 137 schools, our geographic region spans a 350 km radius.

HRCE is inviting qualified String Music Teachers interested in a 100% specialty term or probationary contract for the 2024-2025 school year to apply to this expression of interest.

Contracts are with the Halifax Regional Centre for Education. If offered a contract, recipients will be advised of the applicable staffing process and timelines to secure a String Music position within one of our 137 schools for September 2024.

Teachers who meet the following criteria may be eligible for a contract:

University Transcripts confirming your qualifications must be included with your application (uploaded into resume).

String Teachers who are interested in positions during the remainder of this school year should monitor postings on a weekly basis.

Applicants must use the Teaching Resume template and respond to the Teaching Specific questions under the Questionnaire section.
