After many wonderful years our controller has decided it is time to retire. Grimsby Chrysler Dodge is looking to hire a full time controller- ideal candidate will have dealership experience as well as some exposure to CDK and Chrysler.
Controller - Automotive Dealership

We are a well-established, family owned, automotive dealership dedicated to providing exceptional service and a wide range of vehicles, both new and preowned to our valued customers. With a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial aspects of the dealership, including budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial transactions.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial records.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Work closely with external auditors during annual audits.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in accounting standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Controller in the automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of dealership accounting practices.
Proficiency in accounting software, ideally CDK and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
