JOB OPPORTUNITY: ACCOUNT MANAGER


Location: Delta, British Columbia, CA (Onsite) Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:

As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team, focusing on a specific geography or vertical market. Managing approximately 44-55 current accounts, with an annual revenue target of around $2 million, you will utilize our cutting-edge Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce, to streamline your daily business operations. Reporting to the District Sales Manager, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success.


Key Responsibilities:

• Understand customer goals and respond to evolving customer needs.

• Demonstrate proficiency in market data analysis and utilize resources to address changes in customer business dynamics.

• Oversee managed inventory tasks to enhance customer understanding, increase contacts within customer groups, and boost sales results.

• Grasp our clients Value Proposition, offering solutions to drive profitable sales.

• Develop account penetration strategies, conducting regular business reviews for key customers to optimize sales.


Qualifications:

• 2+ years of direct outside sales experience (or equivalent inside sales or marketing experience).

• Proficiency in sales forecasting, opportunity management, and customer planning.

• Willingness to travel to each customer within the aligned market at least once per month, or more frequently as needed.

• Process discipline, aligning planning goals with a pipeline development process to drive market revenue.

• Ability to leverage the sales process to uncover customer objections/concerns and determine appropriate solutions.

• High School diploma or GED (Post-Secondary education preferred).

• The role may require visits to customer sites, with potential alcohol and drug screening policies applicable.
