CO-OP PROJECT COORDINATOR, ENGINEERING
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the project team in the direction and planning of all aspects of a project including: project scheduling, logistics, quality control, subcontractors and project staffing levels
Assist with discussions and meetings with subcontractors, vendors, customers and management when required
Assist with project policies and procedures, establish project control systems and implement project execution plans
Assist in data and file compilation for internal client databases
Review and collaborate to resolve concerns regarding issues and performance of the project
Liaise with project stakeholders to collect requirements and maintain effective communication
Support in the maintenance and monitoring of project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
Ensuring project deadlines are met
Providing administrative support as needed
Undertaking project tasks as required
Developing project strategies
Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and collaborate provide solutions where applicable
Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
Assist in developing and maintaining project management calendars for fulfilling each goal and objective.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Currently enrolled as a third or fourth year full-time undergraduate student in an accredited post-secondary engineering or sciences program
Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.
Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co-op placement to graduate.
Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
