Job Description

As the Analyst, Intercompany AP-AR , you will report directly to the Supervisor, Intercompany AP-AR and will be part of AIM’s Finance Shared Services Center at our head office in Montréal, Canada.

Your main responsibilities will be to post and reconcile intercompany transactions between the company’s various legal entities, divisions, and branches.

• Process payable and receivable transactions for intercompany entities, divisions, and sites, ensuring corresponding accounting is performed for each party.
• Follow-up with various AIM departments and divisions on pending transactions.
• Facilitate payment and/or netting activities between intercompany parties.
• Perform regular reconciliations of payable and receivable subledgers and collect explanations on the variances for month-end reporting.
• Provide a quality service to external and internal clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar function.
• Knowledgeable in basic accounting principles.
• Post-secondary education in an accounting or business-related field.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different situations and be proactive when facing challenges.
• Ability to manage a large volume of transactions.
• Good organisational skills, rigor, and autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bilingualism (French/English)
