Job description
We’re looking for full time Bilingual Commercial Insurance Advisors in the Gatineau and surrounding area to join our Client's team!
Newly licensed brokers/agents are welcome.
Remote, hybrid or in-office work arrangements available depending on your location.
The Role
As a Bilingual Commercial Insurance Advisor you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package. In this position, leads are provided to you, no cold calling or sourcing your own leads! Compensation for this position is base salary + incentives. You will be working for an existing small business program that works with clients across Canada, and now expanding into the province of Quebec.
- Identify customer needs and meets or exceeds expectations.
- Manage customer interactions through various channels and meet sales objectives.
- Develop and maintain insurance product knowledge expertise.
- Correctly input customer underwriting information into a quoting system.
- Generate a premium estimate and discuss product and price options with the client.
- Sell the policy based on the features of the product and the company.
- Up-sell and cross-sell policy coverage.
- Manage and service existing policies as needed.
- Answer inquiries about coverage, deductibles, processes, claims, etc.
Skills and Requirements
- Bilingual in French and English.
- Must be registered with AMF and completed the probationary period.
- Insurance experience as a Broker or Agent.
- Proven sales and customer service success
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
