Compensation

Base salary in the range of $150,000 – $175,000.

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Construction Manager to join our client’s dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from initial conception through completion.

This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes, project management, and team leadership. The Senior Construction Manager will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
• Ensure projects are completed according to project plans, specifications, and building codes.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to ensure projects progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
• Review and approve project designs and changes, confer with supervisory personnel and contractors to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Implement and enforce safety and quality control policies among contractors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to project management staff.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proven experience with ICI construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Familiarity with building codes, legal regulations, and safety standards.
• Proven track record of managing complex construction projects from start to finish.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in construction management software.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
