We are looking for a
Manager, Technology Operations. What you will do :
- Lead the design and implementation of SAP security strategies and solutions in areas such as role-based access control, identity and access management, IT controls, data security, and vulnerability management
- Deliver security solutions across multiple transformation programs by coordinating with security and controls teams, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Define governance strategies to ensure security solutions are implemented consistently and aligned with centrally defined standards and requirements. Work with the security teams on the transformation programs to ensure both centralized requirements and project specific requirements are being considered.
- Stay current with new SAP Development and security technologies; evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and processes to keep the SAP landscape secure and aligned with the CanadaLife Information Security Policies and Standards
- Through your knowledge of industry trends and tools, together with your own experiences, guide the team to improve our software, our environment, and our process.
- Provide guidance and direction to the development team to tear down obstacles and keep initiatives on target and moving forward.
- Coach and mentor developers in the team through technical design sessions, code reviews and pair programming.
- Provide technical guidance and support in resolving critical production issues.
- Collaborate with business and product stakeholders to successfully deliver new features and capabilities.
- Work with Product Managers, Designers and Business Stakeholders in the roadmap definition process.
- Define governance strategies to ensure security solutions are implemented consistently and aligned with centrally defined standards and requirements. Work with the security teams on the transformation programs to ensure both centralized requirements and project specific requirements are being considered.
- Collaborate with our vendors and external consulting partners; oversee contractors and review project deliverables to ensure project objectives are met
- Facilitate training and knowledge transfer from project teams to steady state support teams
- Project planning activities including timeline establishment, resourcing, and budget estimates
- Oversee minor to medium sized projects by participating in scoping, planning, and staffing of the projects, providing technical guidance and addressing escalations
What you will bring: - 5+ years of experience on security and controls workstreams of SAP, with a minimum of 3 years overseeing security teams in a lead / manager capacity.
- Experience in the domains of SAP application security, IT controls, role-based access strategies, segregation of duties, identity and access management (user provisioning, user access reviews, user terminations), single-sign on, data security, security monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Experience with SAP integration development using PI, Ab-initio, Data Services and BW etc.
- A deep understanding of software development with a minimum of 2 years hands-on programming expertise. While you may not code every day, understanding the context of your team’s work is paramount.
- A track record of successfully mentoring and growing other software developers in your previous roles as a direct manager.
- Proficient in security design, configuration, and deployment activities in SAP technologies including SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, SAP GRC, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and Central Finance.
- Strong communication skills; ability to discuss security topics tailored to technical, business, and leadership level audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee decentralized teams.
- Ability to form strong working relationships with internal Associates and external partners across the organizations.
- Experience with Coaching and Development of team members
- Strong project management and organizational skills to deliver results across multiple parallel running projects. Can lead engagement planning, budgeting, and technical review activities to ensure deliverables are met on time, within budget, and with quality.
The base salary for this position is between
$74,500- $137,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
