What You Will Do: - Manually assemble and hand solder medical devices together as assigned, in a production setting
- Glue and adhere very small items together with precise requirements.
- Meet daily quotas of assembly work ensuring completed items meet company’s high-quality standards.
- Prepare devices for shipment to other departments and/or facilities.
- Utilize soldering equipment and tools to ensure reliable connections are made so that medical devices work as expected.
What You Need: - 1+ years’ experience working with a hand soldering iron or SMT soldering.
- Previous experience working repetitively with very small parts (i.e., needles, wires, casings etc.)
- Post secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting and meeting quotas is a must.
- Ability to follow detailed instruction and learn on the job.
- Previous experience using a microscope to solder small and fine items is an asset.
