Position Status- Permanent, Full time 37.5hrs a week

The Great Canadian Dollar Store is looking to fill a permanent, full time cashier position. It will be a Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday position.

Job Description:

• Cashier duties include providing excellent customer service
• Greeting customers
• Answering customer questions and directing them to find items in the store.
• Operate electronic and other cash register.
• Receive and process payments by cash, cheque, credit/ debit

Requirements/ Qualifications

• Must be able to speak English
• Highschool education or equivalent
• Ability to resolve customer concerns
• Ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Applicants must be reliable, responsible, punctual, honest and have a positive attitude
