Job description

Kitchen Quickies is looking for a Retail Store Supervisor.  This position is responsible for scheduling, merchandising, cleaning and general organization which supports the amazing people and products in our community shop. Our goal is to provide a destination known for the best organic produce and everyone’s favorite natural and organic groceries.

Full Time

• Full-time, year-round.
• $60,000 per year.
• Store discounts plus staff meals while on shift.

• Previous experience in customer service within a similar environment with a strong interest in grocery or food is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership position supervising a team.
• Experience cleaning in a professional environment.
• Motivated, self starter who takes initiative and leads by example.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to build positive business relationships.

• Receiving fresh produce.
• Communicating with customers.
• Operating the checkout.
• Cleaning and opening or closing procedures.
• There is lots of walking and the occasional heavy lifting.
• Opportunities to learn about other essential aspects of the business such as making promotional signage, shelf displays, ordering, receiving and quality control.

• 5 days per week x 8 hours per day.
• Working hours may fall between 8am and 9pm Monday thru Sunday.

• $60,000 per year depending on experience.
