Your future duties and responsibilities:

•Plan, organize, lead and monitor the activities
•Ensures that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff are competent in procedures applicable to their roles
•Maintains overall control of the schedule and the delivery of all expected deliverables
•Monitors project activities to ensure quality and adherence to project management methodology and implement corrective measures to address any significant variance
•Prepares the management deliverables (e.g. project plan, work plan, management reviews, requests for changes, outstanding issues and risks) and seeks approval when necessary
•Notifies the Engagement Manager, Program Manager, or Project Director of any issues and submits recommendations to resolve these issues
•Conduct or oversee risk analysis to support management decision making
•Takes action on issues of non-compliance in quality and ensures all project products are in accordance with quality standards
•Maintains ongoing contact with the client project manager and ensures ongoing close work relationship.
•Communicates plans, responsibilities and status to project stakeholders
•Supports Engagement Manager, Program Manager or Project Director in communicating plans and status to senior client stakeholders
•Manages and communicates all outstanding issues, risks and decisions and change requests.
•Performs or guides the role of configuration manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for configuration management are followed and that the Change Control Board (CCB) performs as specified.
•Performs or guides the role of requirements manager, ensuring that the procedures identified for requirements management are followed
•Maintains project budget, reviews and tracks all project time and expenses, and performs monthly financial reporting and forecasting.
•Manages project scope, raises and documents Project Change Requests where applicable.
Adhere to all requirements of the CGI Management Foundation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

•10-12 years of demonstrated experience in project management University degree in information technology, business administration or related field
•Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
•Demonstrated experience managing relationships with multiple stakeholders at various levels in an organization
•Advanced knowledge of project life-cycle management
•Advanced knowledge of relevant project management principles, tools & techniques
•Solid understanding of IT service delivery and support processes
•Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and principles
