Work Location: 8-4995 Timberlea Blvd., Mississauga, ON L4W 2S2 and various locations across the Greater Toronto Area.

Job Description:

• Move tools, equipment and other materials
• Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Perform miscellaneous labouring activities to help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions on all types of air compressors
• Assist in assembling machinery and equipment (prior installation)
• Perform routine maintenance work on machinery (Preventive Maintenance Service on all types of air compressors)
• Assist in repairing or replacing defective machinery parts
• Response to afterhours service calls via CRU cellular phone
• Operate Material Handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet riders, order pickers
• May drive to various locations across the Greater Toronto Area with Industrial Mechanics to provide services to clients.

Requirements:

-Education: Not required

-Experience: Not required. On-the-job training is provided

-Driver’s license is required to drive from and to jobsites.

-Basic knowledge of compressed air principals is a great asset

-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Hand-eye coordination, Physically demanding, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Standing for extended periods of time, Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity.

-Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty, Outdoors

Salary: $27.50 hourly, 40 – 44 hours per week

Important Information: Work schedule: from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4h30 pm. Shifts may vary according to the business needs, flexibility in schedule is required. Weekend work required, overtime might be required. On call.
