Job description
atrixHR is currently recruiting for multiple experienced Insulators of different skill levels for a project located in Fort McMurray AB.
Camp Provided!
- Hours per day: 10 hour days (overtime after 40 hours per week).
- Rotations: 14 on and 7 off.
- Travel: Flights available out of Calgary and Edmonton AB, (option to drive as well).
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
Travel Allowance:
- Alberta travel $140/per rotation.
- Out of province travel (must have proof of permanent residence) $650 - $1300/ per rotation.
Pay:
- JP: $44.00/ per hour.
- 3RD: $35.20/ per hour.
- 2ND: $ 30.80/ per hour.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Describes the materials used and identifies areas where fireproofing and fire stopping are used in a building system.
- Recognizes the various applications and identify materials used in various spray applications.
- Understands, identifies and describes the components and materials used in an Industrial system and commercial system.
- Identifies the terms and applications for pre-insulated panels.
- Identifies the applications for removable soft covers.
- Interprets mechanical drawings to describe processes, identifies their divisions and components related to specifications and addendums related to an industrial system.
- Identifies, defines and applies information found on drawings for the application of insulating materials without supervision.
- Safety is everyone’s responsibility and you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you.
Education:
- Trade Ticket OR Proof of hours required.
Physical & Other Requirements:
- Lifting, bending, climbing.
- Ability to be exposed to various types of work environments.
- Use of various equipment and trade-related hand tools.
- Working with WHMIS products and materials.
- Use of specialized PPE such as respirators, coveralls and safety glasses.
Required Certifications:
- CSO, CSTS, Fall Protection, WHMIS.
