Job Description: Journeyman Welder (Two-Year Contract with LOA Bonus)
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Welder for a two-year contract. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong background in welding techniques and a commitment to safety and quality. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team, contributing to a range of projects in industrial, commercial, and construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding Operations: Perform various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, stick, and flux-cored welding, according to project needs.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications to determine the layout and welding requirements.
- Quality Control: Ensure all welds meet or exceed quality standards and comply with specific codes and regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair welding equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with team members, including other welders, supervisors, and project managers, to ensure efficient and timely project completion.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Welder certification.
- Proven experience in welding, with proficiency in various welding techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and OSHA regulations.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Contract Details:
