The opportunity:
The University of Manitoba is looking for a Dietetic Accreditation Specialist. This role involves supervising accreditation and associated tasks for the FHNS Dietetics Program, encompassing both the Undergraduate Dietetics and Master of Applied Human Nutrition programs. Responsibilities include preparing self-assessments for accreditation, coordinating site visits, conducting course mapping, executing annual program evaluations, creating attestation reports, and implementing ongoing quality assurance procedures.
The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
· Bachelor of Science Degree required, Human Nutritional Sciences, dietetic or related area preferred.
· Registered Dietitian preferred.
· Minimum one year of directly related experience required.
· Knowledge of the dietetic accreditation standards preferred
· Knowledge of the Integrated Competencies for Dietetic Education and Practice (ICDEPs) preferred.
· Previous experience conducting program evaluation preferred.
· Previous experience teaching or working within a university setting preferred.
· Previous experience as a dietetic preceptor preferred.
· An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Written and oral communications required.
· Organization and efficiency, ability to meet deadlines; manage documents; data collection; keep confidential files required.
· Data collection (survey, focus groups) skills preferred.
· Data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) skills preferred.
· Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders required.
· Ability to identify and develop appropriate evaluation tools and processes preferred.
· Technical writing: Reports and stakeholder communication preferred.
· Ability to develop quality assurance processes preferred.
· Ability to plan and organize meetings and accreditation site visits preferred.
· Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
