About the Opportunity

The Staffing Clerk is responsible for duties related to staffing inpatient units and Resource Facilitators by using a computerized system in accordance to set standards. The Staffing Clerk is responsible for maintaining continuity in application of staffing guidelines, collective agreements and collaborates with the appropriate managers regarding creation and posting of schedules and staffing deficiencies.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Graduate of a post-secondary secretarial or office administration program required
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office with strong knowledge of Excel
• Experience with scheduling systems an asset
• Minimum of two years recent clerical experience in a health care environment required; staffing environment preferred
• Demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks required
• Ability to work under pressure of time limitations is required
• Working knowledge of staffing guidelines and collective agreements preferred
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communications skills; must be an effective team player
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
• An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered.

Hours

• Permanent Full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
• Shifts include days, nights, and weekends
• Travel to various sites may be required

Compensation and Incentives

• $20.37-$25.46 Hourly
