Job Status

Status:  Full-Time

Pay Range: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, plus annual incentive

Location : Kelowna, Hardy

Job Purpose:

We are currently recruiting for an Associate, Commercial Insurance to join our bonding and surety team.  An Associate, Commercial Insurance builds effective relationships with clients, insurance companies and their Acera team to bring measurable value to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of excellent service when analyzing a client’s needs.   

Primary duties include, but not limited to, the following:

• Contributes in regular meetings with team to ensure you are up to date on all pending client issues, changing needs, implementing service plans, and other issues
• Fields internal client communication via mail, email, phone and/or face to face and identifies clients insurance requirements
• Ability to build relationships with clients which instills confidence
• Complete documents with all required details in a professional well written format
• Acera Leader in the client and insurance industry through professional writing, speaking and networking engagements
• Supports processes and procedures and past practices; participates in team meetings
• Analytical and not afraid of numbers

• Ability to maximize efficiencies by leveraging technology, tools resources and information
• Self-guided learner & solves problems with real solutions
• Level 1 BC General Insurance License
• Working knowledge of insurance document management software (EPIC) & Policy works
• Skilled user of Microsoft office - Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
