Job description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to suppo rt our payables team by providing support for invoice and expense claim entry. This is a great opportunity for an individual with excellent data entry and attention to detail skills who enjoys working with a high performing and innovative team while making an impact.

This is a 9 month temporary position with the possibility of extension.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure all invoices and expense claims are entered accurately into JD Edwards as per monthly timeline requirements.
• Identify any transactions that pose a risk to the company.
• Review and reconcile vendor accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Obtain the appropriate approvals for all invoices received before processing for payment.
• Follow-up with vendors/internal staff for invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure all invoices are entered to meet payment runs.
• Achieve monthly timeline requirements.

• Post-secondary education or equivalent additional accounts payable experience preferred but not required
• Above average accounts payables knowledge.
