WAGE RATE: $24.909 – $25.530
Reporting to the Manager, Support Services the Laundry Linen Worker supports the processing and delivery of laundry services. Key responsibilities include unloading washers, loading and unloading dryers, processing clean linens and rotating through laundry/linen stations using a variety of linen machinery.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Successful Completion of Secondary Diploma
- Ability to carry out correct lifting and carrying techniques of items weighing up to 50 lbs (to be tested)
- Ability to perform the Physical Demands of the Position
- Ability to work in a team environment without close supervision
- Availability for shift work and weekends
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
