We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Team Member that is extremely detail oriented, thrives on problem resolution, enjoys improving processes, and can assist our team to consistently hit our timelines! Responsibilities: - Accurately process all AR and AP transactions.
- Bank Account reconciliation and balancing.
- Receive invoices from suppliers and ensure all purchases are rebilled to the appropriate store location.
- Oversee multiple corporate store accounts payable activities on routine basis; process cheque runs.
- Prepare and make bank deposits, record into accounting system.
- Interact with suppliers, Store Administrators and/or other external parties to ensure their questions and concerns relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and rebilling are handled in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
- Provide back up support for Store Administrator in absence.
- Assist with annual year-end audit.
Qualifications - Post-secondary education in Business Accounting or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a senior role and experience supporting mutli-locations is a must
- Extreme attention to detail; with excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated
- Ability to interact with a variety of individuals and personalities
- Solid computer skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are needed
