We are in search of a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in business development, specifically within the CTV (Connected TV) advertising industry. We are looking for a Business Development Director, CTV Publishers, who will be responsible for sourcing and onboarding new CTV Publishers to Smaato's omni-channel ad exchange.
This position can be occupied in New York in a hybrid set-up or filled remotely in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
What You Will Do
Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new publisher clients, with a primary focus on CTV-based advertising inventory
Initiate and lead external-facing calls and meetings with prospective CTV publishers
Collaborate closely with product and marketing teams to create compelling client-facing presentations and prepare for pitches tailored to the CTV ecosystem
Successfully convert potential publishers into signed clients
Work closely with the account management team to ensure a seamless onboarding process that meets the unique requirements of CTV publishers
Develop innovative strategies to engage and attract new CTV publishers
Build and nurture relationships with publishers, focusing on establishing long-term partnerships
Skillfully negotiate deals and contracts to generate revenue within the CTV ecosystem
Stay well-informed about the CTV market and competitive landscape to shape effective business strategies
Manage client relationships with the goal of maximizing the available inventory and meeting daily delivery needs
Provide timely sales forecasts and reports to the executive team
What You Will Bring
A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in the AdTech industry, with a strong emphasis on the CTV advertising sector, currently selling to CTV Publishers
An existing network of CTV publishers, within the AMERICAS region
Proven experience in executing and managing technical integrations related to CTV advertising
Proficiency in managing complex sales cycles and negotiating contracts
Strong collaborative skills to work seamlessly across multiple departments, including product, marketing, and account management
Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities to devise tailored solutions for CTV publisher partnerships
Deep breadth of experience working with various CTV Platforms such as: Springserve, Publica, Freewheel, etc.
Proficiency in working with CRM tools, Excel, and PowerPoint
A bachelor's degree
