Position: Payroll Specialist
Location: Montreal (Cartierville)
Salary: up to 37$ per hour
Schedule: 35h per week

What you need:
- Significant experience in payroll
- Perfect mastery of payroll principles
- Experience with the softwares Virtuo, Medisolution and or Logibec
- French spoken and written
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Perform the daily operational functions of the payroll department to ensure accurate data entry into the payroll system.
- Supervise activities related to payroll processing for all unionized, non-unionized, and managerial staff, ensuring compliance with federal and provincial legislations.
- Manage various banks (vacation, sick leave, accrued time, etc.) and ensure their integrity in the payroll system.
- Validate payroll deductions, social benefits, taxable benefits, etc.
- Ensure the monthly and annual closure of the accounting cycle regarding payroll.
- Maintain knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and human resources regulations.
- Execute any other related tasks necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the payroll department.
