Job description

Our client is in a growing phase and is looking to add a financial controller reporting to the VP of finance you will oversee the full accounting cycle, preparation of the financial statements, and analysis. As the financial controller in an IFRS setting you will be responsible with your team to ensure proper financial reporting and deliver insightful analysis. You will be supported by an amazing leader who has been in your shoes for the past 15+ years and can't wait to pass on his knowledge. Responsibilities
Full Cycle Accounting Oversight:
Manage AP, AR, and Payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

IFRS Compliance:
Ensure adherence to IFRS standards; implement and oversee reporting processes.

Financial Reporting:
Lead preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.

Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate on annual budgeting and forecasting activities.

Cash Flow Management:
Optimize cash utilization and manage liquidity needs.

Internal Controls:
Establish and maintain effective internal controls.

Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor the accounting team.

Qualifications
CPA with 5-7 years of experience
IFRS experience
Bilingual
Flexible with an open mindset
