Job Description
The Pharmacist - PharmD - Degree is accountable for performing those duties that enable pharmacy services to be provided to the staff and patients of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The Pharmacist - PharmD - Degree reports to the Manager.
Job Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Entry-level Degree (Bachelors of Science Pharmacy or entry level PharmD)
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a practicing pharmacist in Saskatchewan
Experience Previous pharmacy experience in a Health facility is an asset. Clinical Pharmacy experience in community based pharmacies or Primary Health Setting is an asset. Computerized Pharmacy systems experience is an asset. Hospital/Clinical Pharmacy residency or/an Advanced Pharmacy Degree would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Ability to work flexible hours
- Proficiency in a wide variety of computer programs.
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License.
Other Information - Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. HSAS seniority within the Saskatchewan Health Authority will be considered under the Selection Criteria.
