Job description

Catastrophe Solutions International (CSI) is hiring for Operations Manager. The Operations Manager is responsible for increasing revenue and overall market penetration through successful hail account development (i.e. dealerships, auctions, rental car agencies, auto body shops, and insurance companies) as well as taking an active role in supporting and developing these initiatives at a national level and in other territories. The OPS-MGR is also responsible for operations of a storm in various regions of North America. It will include, but not limited to, customer service, appraising, selling services, managing PDR technicians, working with body shops, liaison with Insurance companies, pre-inspection of cars and final quality control of finished product. Parts management may also be required and a basic knowledge of this will be an asset. Managing parts needed for repairs, ordering parts, returning parts are just some of the tasks that may be required in specific instances. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. May require regular travel throughout Canada, as well as occasional travel to other territories across North America to assist when necessary. A valid Drivers License and passport are required for this position as well as the ability to enter the United States of America. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Business Development/Sales Identify and develop business opportunities that are created due to Hail damage. Maintain or establish solid business relationships on behalf of Catastrophe Solutions International with all potential customers. Develop new customer opportunities with body shops that will provide CSI with good partners for future hail events and maximize insurance opportunities. Writing fair and accurate estimates as well as calibrating estimating abilities of insurance partners, and body shop personnel. Manage claims drives after catastrophic storms Customer Relationships/Operations Play a key role in growing existing accounts and building relationships with key personnel in targeted accounts. Write target-account plans for all prospective accounts, maintain client histories and participate in client familiarization visits. Proactively identify and resolve customer needs and or problems. Responsible for managing customer satisfaction, product quality, technician performance, and maximizing profitability for each job. Develop and implement metrics to measure success. Stay informed of current competitive activity. Ensure that all sales and marketing programs are actively promoted. Administration Maintain sales/customer database utilizing existing company software. Maintain supply of all sales and marketing collateral. Learn and use CSI's field technical system to insure quality documentation from field to office. Support and adhere to Company policies and procedures and uphold Catastrophe Solutions International's ethical standards and commitment to operating with the highest integrity. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and / or Experience: Undergraduate level, automotive and sales experience preferred Reasoning Ability: Problem solving, Solution orientated, Management skills and experience Computer and Technology skills: Ability to adapt to and be proficient in different software platforms (mapping, auto estimating, office systems) Other Skills and Abilities: Must be willing to travel for extended periods, proven track record for increasing sales and developing relationships, experience working in crash system (Mitchell, Audatex, MTRX) a plus, ability to lift up-to 75 pounds, good vision, Licensed to appraise vehicles in your province would be an asset. Language Skills: English required and French a plus Must have a valid drivers license Must be able to travel alone, frequently and in a days' notice Experience: Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
