Position: Tribunal Member

Members are the Tribunal's decision makers. Members hear appeals and write decisions for the Tribunal. The Tribunal recruits new members on an ongoing basis.

A Panel Member receives $145 per hearing. A Panel Chair receives $225 per hearing.

The Minister, Social Development and Poverty Reduction, appoints members. Appointments are merit-based and done in consultation with the Tribunal Chair.

Section 82 of the Employment and Assistance Regulation sets out requirements for Members. The Tribunal Chair also includes some other requirements.
