POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of various projects within our organization. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent time management abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting meeting minutes.
- Monitor project progress and track key milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to gather project requirements and updates.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk registers.
- Identify potential risks or issues and escalate them to the project manager for resolution.
- Assist in resource allocation and management to ensure adequate support for project tasks.
- Support the project team in managing project scope, change requests, and prioritization of deliverables.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration on project objectives.
- Provide administrative support as needed, working with various departments, and managing project-related documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Education in business administration, project management or a combination of experience and education in a related field.
- 2 years of experience as a project coordinator or related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Waterfall or Agile.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing project requirements and priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (MS Project, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
