Job description

We are collaborating with our client in Aurora, ON on their search for a G2 or G3 licensed technician with commercial pipe fitting experience working on large-scale heating and cooling units.
One position is available for a G2 or G3 licensed Pipe Fitter to join the day shift.

G2 or G3 Licensed Pipe Fiitter Responsibilities:

• Identify and repair or replace any malfunctioning components.
• Create documented records of inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs.
• Accurately read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Measure and mark, cut, thread, and hammer pipes to specifications using a variety of hand tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threader, and benders.
• Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines,
• Achieve production deadlines by communicating with colleagues in other departments to ensure on-time deliverables.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Valid G2 or G3 Gas License or equivalent pipe fitter license is an asset
• Accurate measuring and layout ability.
• Experience pipefitting on large-scale commercial projects.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, technical bulletins, manuals
• Mechanically inclined with an ability to confidently use a variety of hand tools
• Knowledge of industry safety practices.
