Negotiates supply agreements and manages vendor relationships with referred convenience store suppliers for assigned categories.
Manages product assortment and product specifications in assigned categories in order to identify and address opportunities within the business and the market to maximize sales and margin opportunities.
Develops and communicates business plans that maximize sales, margin dollars and margin percentage based on current business trends and additional business and external market factors.
Identifies items to maximize promotional and marketing strategies to meet sales and margin goals.
Provides field leadership teams and store operators with relevant and timely communication required to maximize sales and margins.
Assists in the support, maintenance and updating of the price book ERP system, as required.
Works with the Marketing Team on promotional and merchandising programs.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of three years’ experience in a directly related role, which includes store retail operations and systems experience.
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Persuasive communicator, presenter and negotiator.
Self-starter who is able to manage time well.
Able to plan, execute and juggle multiple projects and priorities successfully.
Previous experience leading projects.
Excellent analytical skills with proven attention to detail.
Must be highly competent in the use of Microsoft suite of software. Must be able to create reports and spreadsheets, export and manipulate data.
Able to communicate effectively in both official languages, both verbal and written is preferred.
