Description The
Industrial Mechanics Superintendent plays a key role within a construction or civil engineering company. He is responsible for supervising and coordinating all activities related to industrial mechanics on construction sites. He must ensure the planning, management and execution of construction projects involving complex mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities •Plan and coordinate industrial mechanics activities on construction sites, ensuring the proper distribution of resources and respecting established deadlines and budgets.
•Coordinate the various stakeholders (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, technicians).
•Identify and communicate work execution priorities to subcontractors.
•Supervise and supervise teams of workers specialized in industrial mechanics, ensuring that tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's quality and safety standards.
•Effectively manage the human, material and financial resources necessary for the execution of industrial mechanics work, ensuring that costs and performance are optimized.
•Ensure quality control of industrial mechanical work by carrying out regular inspections and ensuring that quality standards are met at each stage of the project.
•Promote a culture of safety on construction sites by implementing and enforcing company safety standards and ensuring workers wear appropriate protective equipment.
•Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, quantity takeoffs and incident reports, ensuring traceability and compliance with contractual requirements.
•Supervise the activities of subcontractors and service providers involved in industrial mechanical work, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and quality standards.
•Participate in the training and development of staff under your responsibility, ensuring that team members acquire the skills necessary to perform their tasks efficiently and safely.
Requirements •Degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a related field.
•Experience in a role supervising or managing industrial mechanical work, preferably in the field of construction or civil engineering.
•In-depth knowledge of industrial mechanics equipment and processes used in the construction industry.
•Ability to read and interpret technical plans, mechanical drawings and construction specifications.
•Advanced leadership, team management and problem solving skills.
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members.
•Mobility to move around construction sites and meet operational needs.
•In-depth knowledge of safety standards and occupational health and safety regulations.
•Excellent oral and written communication.
