The post holder will be part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for the efficientday to day running of the MRI departments in Worthing and Southlands Hospitals.To post holder will work as part of the MRI team providing a professional service
that ensures high standards of both Imaging and Patient Care.
Radiographers are expected to assess justify and undertake individual requests for MRI ensure proper records are maintained and fulfil the CPD and development requirements laid down by the HCPC / Trust. The participation in audit / research programmes as necessary is also required.
The post holder will need to be able to undertake a wide range of clinical duties in MRI to provide a high quality imaging service and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients encouraging and supporting colleagues to do so also. The post holder will adhere to all Safety regulations Trust policies and protocols. The post holder will be directly involved in the training and supervision of Radiographers apprentice radiographers and students. The role is based at Worthing and Southlands Hospitals but rotation to other sites within the Trust may be required.
