Rentco Equipment Ltd. is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing the Peace Region for 60 years. We provide construction, oilfield, and homeowner equipment and consumables
Our Fort St. John branch opened in 2003 and currently employs 14 full-time staff members
We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager to continue to drive the successful operation of our Fort St. John branch forward
As the Branch Manager, you are responsible for :
- Representing Rentco Equipment as a knowledgeable, professional, and respected brand ambassador who embodies the image and values of Rentco Equipment
- Networking within the Fort St. John area to increase sales volumes
- Assessing local market conditions and identifying current and prospective sales opportunities
- Promptly addressing customer satisfaction and employee relations issues
- Scheduling and prioritizing work for yourself and your direct reports on a day-to-day basis
- Completing A/R and A/P paperwork promptly and on time
- Hiring, training, coaching, and development direct reports to meet company standards
- Conducting monthly safety meetings
- Conducting initial safety investigations when required
You have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 3+ years of Management experience
- Ability to work Monday- Friday and be a part of a weekend and on-call schedule
- Class 5 licence with a clean abstract and the ability to travel when required
- Ability to lead a team tactfully and respectfully while achieving results
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to appropriate staff
- Intermediate computer skills, including programs Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn our internal software
