We are excited to partner with Opus to hire a new member for their team in Canada, Account Manager, Private Markets Group. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Private Markets Group, you will support the fund administration process. The role is an exciting opportunity to be heavily involved in building and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities will include:

Client Relationship Management:

• Serve as the primary or escalation point of contact for clients, ensuring 100% issue resolution with agreed timelines.
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular communication and timely responses to client queries.

Team Management & Internal Coordination:

• Monitor team performance metrics and achieve on-time delivery for all internal and client deliverables.
• Provide daily support to colleagues in other locations to help boost team productivity.

NAV Calculation & Review:

• Review and approve NAV calculations for several funds per month, ensuring a 99% accuracy rate.
• Assist in preparing NAV calculations as needed to meet client deliverables.

Operational Excellence:

• Assist in implementing initiatives that make sure the right people are doing the right work at the right time.
• Ensure that all processes and activities adhere to company procedures and compliance policies.

Audit and Financial Statements:

• Assist in coordinating annual audits and the preparation of audited financial statements, ensuring a 100% completion rate within audit timelines.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, ACA, ACCA, or other relevant certifications).
• Experience producing and reviewing NAV within private equity, including the allocation of P&L.
• Technical experience in a number of areas including capital calls and distributions, LPA review, and waterfall calculation (to name a few).
• Experience in a role that required extensive written and verbal communications, ideally with clients.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Strong attention to details and managing multiple, simultaneous deliverables.
• Excellent excel skills.
