Job description

Matrix HR is looking for a short-term Carpenter for our excellent client running a job site in Calgary AB. This position requires the ability to take directions and perform tasks that require physical labour, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Pay Rate: $32 - $34/hr

Working Conditions:

• Must be willing to perform a wide variety of tasks with varying physical requirements from lifting to climbing ladders, and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to work at height and in confined spaces.
• Extended outdoor activity; exposure to varied weather conditions.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with the safe operation of carpentry tools and power tools.
• Must be able to work safely with other workers and abide by our client's safety manual.

Requirements:

• Prior carpentry work.
• Relevant construction experience, residential or commercial.
• Valid Driver's License and Own Vehicle (asset)
• Own Tool Pouch/Tools.
• Full PPE. (Steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves)

• CSTS,
• WHMIS
• Fall Pro (preferred) 
• Journeyperson Certification (preferred)
