Role: We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences.

Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. We'd like to meet you if you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace.

Your goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Responsibilities:

• Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and positively.
• Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
• Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Collect payments from tables.
• Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
• Help food preparation staff when necessary.
• Taking feedback from diners.
• Setting tables throughout the shift.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of restaurant serving or waitering experience. 
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• High school diploma or degree.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work late night shifts. 

In addition to the duties mentioned above and job functions, any other assignment is given on an occasional or daily basis by the immediate superior or the management.
