Position: Welder JOURNEYMAN
* Immediate Start *
Nisku, AB, (3-6 months contract with potential long term permanent opportunity)
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (optional overtime Friday and Saturday)
Start Hourly Wage $38

Responsibilities
- Apply Fluxcore welding expertise to weld buckets and skids experience with 6 inch joint welding up to 400 degrees
- Adhere to welding standards, maintain a safe work environment, and promptly address welding issues to minimize downtime
- Keep accurate records of welding activities for maintenance purposes
- Collaborate with team members and maintenance personnel for efficient conveyor repair processes and a smoothly functioning production environment
Qualifications
- Must hold a journeyman welder ticket**
- Hold valid CWB Fluxcore all positions certificate
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Ability to provide your own steel-toed boots
- Capable of lifting up to 50lbs, working at heights, agility, and navigating equipment and ladders
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada (Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid Canadian work permit)
- Please note, your own transportation is necessary as our location is not transit accessible.
