Our client is an expanding Construction Management company who have been in operation for the last 20 years. The business was built on a foundation of strong, lasting relationships and this has been a pivotal to their success. For every home they build, quality is at the forefront of their approach with the goal of exceeding the expectations of both developers and homeowners. Their portfolio consists of townhouse and condominium properties and are currently building around 300 homes per year. The business have a health pipeline of upcoming projects and are looking to add a Superintendent to oversee a 6-storey condominium building located in South Surrey.
Your new role As Superintendent you will be tasked with overseeing the construction of 169 unit, 6-storey condominium building which will include a two level underground parkade. You will take responsibility for the entire project lifecycle along with the provided assistance of the project team. You will ensure the project is well managed and constructed to a high standard in terms of quality.
What you'll need to succeed This job requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent for either a General Contractor or Developer locally. A proven track record of delivering wood frame multi-family projects successfully is a must. Ideally this person will have a carpentry trade or relevant technical diploma or degree education. This client is looking for someone with a good permanent work history, excellent communication skills and good trade knowledge.
